Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Form for Consumers

A “consumer” within the meaning of this cancellation policy is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributed to their commercial nor their independent professional activity.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Smartlauf Co., Martin Luther Str 72, 71636 Ludwigsburg, Email: info@smartlauf.com, Telephone: +49 176 56729516) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g., a letter sent by post or an email). You can use the attached sample cancellation form, but it is not mandatory.

To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notification of the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we must reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs resulting from your choice of a different type of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your cancellation of this contract.

For this repayment, we use the same payment method that you used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise with you. In no case will you be charged fees for this repayment.

We may refuse the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and, in any case, no later than fourteen days from the day you inform us of the cancellation of this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period.

You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties, and functioning of the goods.

Notes on Returning Goods

The instructions in this section are not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of the right of withdrawal.

• Please avoid damage or contamination of the goods.
• If possible, return the goods in their original packaging and outer packaging with all accessories and packaging components.
• If the original packaging or outer packaging is no longer in your possession, please use other suitable packaging to ensure adequate protection against transport damage and to avoid possible claims for compensation due to damage caused by inadequate packaging.
